The ritual of Shikifujin has begun. Minato was preparing to seal the Kyuubi into Naruto's body. He also inserts the rest of the Kushina's Chakra into Naruto's body in order to help him when he want to control the Kyuubi wholly. The next stage is Hakke Fuin. Minato was ready to perform the ritual. Meanwhile Kushina's condition was getting weaker so that the chain that holds the Kyuubi become saggy. When Naruto was almost attacked Kyuubi , Kushina and Minato deterred the attack. As a result, their chest punctured in one claw in front of Naruto. Before dying, Minato write down the key to unlocking the seal Hakke Fuin on Gamatora. At the end of their life, Kushina and Minato give a lot of messages to Naruto. They both were finally dead and sealed Kyuubi inside of Naruto's body.

Although since his birth he has been lonely, but he was happy because his parents had give him fully love before the Kyuubi sealed inside him. Hearing the answer, Kushina cried happily. She was relieved to have met with Naruto and done for her last duty as a mother. Both then hugged tightly and Kushina eventually disappear.
