Konan is now more incentive to attack via explosives paper against Madara. As a result of the explosion, Madara's mask partially destroyed. It seems that Madara uses Izanagi to avoid the blast and as a consequence his left eye blinded. Izanagi is the jutsu of creation possesed by Rikudou Sennin that combines between the Senju and Uchiha. In other words, this stance creates the illusion and reality and combine it in one technique.
Konan was suddenly pierced with a sharp iron from her back. But she could stand still. She was determined to keep the dream of her two beloved friends for making a bridge to peace sturdy stand. And she also believes that Naruto is able to continue their struggle for reaching peace. Madara kill Konan afterward, and he eventually had found a corpse of Nagato in a hiding place created by Konan. He also took his Rinnegan eyes. With it, Madara had mastered the third power of the six power Rikudou Sennin.
